“Service above self” — a popular motto among members of a well-recognized international service organization is one that motivates Beth Roth to give back. Her career has spanned several professions including nursing and mental health counseling, and she has worked as an attorney for more than 20 years. Beth has spent her entire legal career seeking and taking advantage of opportunities to help her clients solve problems, face and overcome difficult challenges, and reach their own professional goals.
Serving clients throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Beth has served as in-house Corporate Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for a national behavioral health care corporation dedicated to treating mental health and substance abuse addictions. During her tenure, she built a solid foundation of expertise in business, regulatory, and employment law that she now uses to advise small to midsize businesses.
Beth recognizes the value of mediation to resolve business disputes, which saves time and reduces costs. In fact, her passion for alternative dispute resolutions inspired her to train as a certified Massachusetts Mediator, and now she provides mediation services to parties seeking alternative solutions to their business disputes.
This, together with her first-hand understanding of what it takes to be a corporate counsel is what makes Beth a critical member of the My Outside General Counsel team.
